There are nearly 5,000 furniture manufacturing enterprises in Sichuan, including more than 2,000 large-scale manufacturing enterprises, with an annual output value of more than 70 billion yuan, forming the third largest production base and the fourth largest circulation base of Chinese furniture. For many years, the Sichuan furniture industry has been influenced by factors such as industry chain, foreign exchange, market information, logistics and transportation, mainly domestic sales. In order to help enterprises to open up the international market and find new profit growth points, Sichuan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau takes measures to ensure the quality and safety of exported furniture brands based on the reality, and urges "Chuanpai Furniture" to expand exports.
Implement registration management and focus on quality. In accordance with the requirements of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, through the implementation of registration management for export furniture manufacturing enterprises, help enterprises to establish and improve the quality management system and improve the quality management level. Currently, there are 17 registered export furniture manufacturers in Sichuan.
Strengthen the collection and publicity of foreign laws and regulations. Collect and sort out the relevant laws and regulations of the importing country through various channels, and promptly notify the enterprise to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of the importing country.
Strengthen the quality control of raw and auxiliary materials. Instruct enterprises to establish and improve the qualification evaluation system of raw materials suppliers, regularly take samples of raw materials for testing, and ensure product quality and safety from the source.
Innovate the inspection and quarantine supervision model. On the basis of product risk analysis, enterprise supervision classification, and random inspection, inspection and release classification, determine the frequency of inspection and quarantine supervision and the proportion of random inspection, implement active classification management, and create a convenient customs clearance environment.
