Foreign news: Swedish company Sapa has completed the merger of Alcoa's soft alloy extrusion business. As a result, Sapa will become the world's largest aluminium profile producer, with annual sales expected to reach $4.5 billion.
Alcoa's soft alloy extrusion business has 22 plants in eight countries and employs 6,400 people. Sapa Profiles has a total of 18 factories in 12 countries and employs 6,000 people.
