Thank you very much for participating in this meeting during your busy schedule. It is because of your participation and support that this super-hard material branch re-election meeting has been successfully and smoothly carried out. On behalf of the Machine Tool Association, I would like to express my congratulations to the newly elected Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Superhard Materials Branch; I would like to express my gratitude to the previous Council for its excellent service work, especially to Secretary-General Li Zhihong. The representative of the Secretariat expressed his gratitude for the hard work; finally, thanked the Chairman of the Board of Directors Sanmao for their support of human, material and financial resources.
The current machine tool industry is still facing downward pressure, and the growth rate of the super-hard materials industry is still growing, but the growth rate has also slowed down. The anxiety of our entire industry is still strong, which may become the new normal for a period of time in the future development of our industry. The situation of our super-hard materials industry is relatively better. I hope that everyone will closely grasp and adjust the development of the industry, grasp the direction of their own enterprises, and position their own product market.
Now, our entire machine tool industry is facing a transformation and upgrading, and industry associations are also facing transformation and upgrading. There are three reasons for the transformation and upgrading of the association: one is that the whole industry is undergoing transformation and upgrading, and the association must keep up with the pace of development of the industry; on the other hand, the government is also carrying out the transformation of functions with “simple government decentralization†as the core, and the association must keep up. In addition, the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee put forward new requirements for the reform of the social organization management system. The core is decoupling from the government and introducing market mechanisms. This is also the requirement for the association to transform itself.
The function of the association in the new era is to provide services, respond to demands, and regulate behaviors. Our association must achieve the goal of transformation and upgrading. The most important thing is to change concepts. We will always propose to strengthen four awareness: market awareness, membership awareness, and service awareness. Open mind. Because our association does not directly enter the market, it has always been insensitive to market reactions, but the company is most concerned about the market, so the first thing the association wants to enhance is market awareness. Second, the association is to provide development for the whole industry. Service, but the first thing to serve is the member company, which will provide various preferential policies and services to member companies in the future. Third, the association will continue to enhance member services and provide quality information services. Fourth, actively build learning communication for enterprises.
