At 3:00 pm on April 2nd, there was a water leak in the tunnel on the subway line 6 on the Chaoyang North Road. After the incident, the construction of Fang Zhuge Group immediately started repairs. The construction party stated that this leak will not affect the construction progress and project quality. As of 8 o'clock last night, repair work is still in progress.
According to insiders, the location of the water leakage was between the Huangqu Station and Changying Station of the Metro Line 6. At 5:00 PM on the 2nd, at the crossing of Chaoyang North Road and Guanzhuang Road, the main road from west to east was temporarily blocked. All vehicles traveled along the auxiliary road. Workers used relevant machinery to drill holes on the ground. According to construction workers, below the ground is the construction location of the Metro Line 6, and there is a water leak at the construction site below. The drilling hole is also required to carry out related plugging operations.
The incident took place at a subway construction site 100 meters east of the junction. It is understood that after completion, it will be station No. 6 of Changying. Afterwards, the reporter entered the underground construction site of the subway from the site where the tunnel had been dug and the rails had been laid. After walking about 200 meters to the west along the tunnel, a 20-meter-long strip of water appeared on the rails in front of it. There was also some silt mixed. A number of surveyors are conducting the survey. They explained that there was a water leak in the tunnel. In addition to this location, there were leaks in the west, and relevant staff had started to plug the leak. At 7 o'clock last night, many staff members once again went down to the tunnel. They carried a large number of woven bags and were ready to plug into the tunnel for plugging operations.
More than 9 pm, the construction party confirmed the matter. The relevant person in charge of the construction party stated that the construction of the construction bid section is nearing the end of the project. The project department took the initiative to carry out exploration work and found relevant problems in the exploration, and immediately repaired it. The leak will not have any impact on the project quality and duration. For the inconvenience caused by repairs, it will speed up repair progress and resume traffic operations on the affected road as soon as possible. The cause of the leakage is not yet clear and investigations are still underway.
