For G-WIT® Honeycomb panels, its core layer uses low volume density and high strength materials such as PP honeycomb core while continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic stratified materials (CFRT, especially, glass fiber reinforced polypropylene sheets) are used for the surface layer. it is a 100% environment-friendly new lightweight material. With a "sandwich" structure, such boards are fabricated by thermoplastic composition. it is widely used in numerous fields because of its ease of processing.

Product characteristics
1. Low density and light weight
The density of G-WIT® honeycomb panel is 1.4g/cm3. Comparing to the 2.2g/cm³ of GRP, the 7.85g/cm³ of steel plates and the 2.7g/cm³ of aluminum plates, it's clear that the density of G-WIT® cellular board is the lowest, thus trucks of the same size is lowest in weight if G-WIT® honeycomb panels are used for the truck box.

2. Impact strengthÂ
Falling ball impact test on 20mm-diameter ball showed the maximum impact strength is 250J/m² under room temperature and >35 J/m² under -20°C.
3. Favorable bending properties
A span of 600mm G-WIT® honeycomb, 15mm thick and 100mm wide, can withstand the pressure of 5kg without deformation or fracture. Comparing with materials such as colored steel laminboards, plywoods and GRP, our boards showed the best bending properties.
In addition, G-WIT® honeycomb panels are also easy to assemble, highly resistant to weather (suitable for use from -40°C ~ +80°C), waterproof, moistureproof and highly resistant to chemical erosion.
