Hardware bearing industry policy promotes development

According to relevant plans, during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, the high-speed rail will usher in the construction peak. In 2011, the national railway plans to invest 700 billion yuan in infrastructure investment, which provides a huge market opportunity for the entire high-speed rail equipment manufacturing enterprises.

According to the “2008 Mid-to-long-term Railway Network Planning Adjustment”, by 2012, China will build 42 high-speed rail passenger lines, with a total mileage of more than 13,000 kilometers. This will create new demand for 800 trains, and the country will achieve high speeds by 2020. The railway mileage will reach 18,000 kilometers, providing a broad market space for China's high-speed railway bearings. In the next three years, China's high-speed rail bearing market will exceed 2 billion yuan.

As a high-speed rail bearing component of the high-speed rail base components, but the Swedish giant SKF, Germany FAG, Japan NTN and other international giants are firmly occupying the Chinese market. Although a small number of domestic enterprises can manufacture motor-vehicle bearings with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, the relevant procurement departments will still use imported components. The outlook for high-end hardware bearings in China is worrisome.
