Vibrating cable perimeter alarm system

The vibrating cable perimeter detection and alarm system is a perimeter intrusion detection device that has been highly evaluated by its customers with its high-precision positioning function and extremely low false alarm rate. It is mainly applied to the external guardrails of important places such as banks, factories and mines, natural gas stations, oil depots, villas, prisons, museums, power stations (including nuclear power stations), and military bases. The purpose of this system is to achieve effective safety precautions. The system consists of a detector and a dedicated Sensing cable composition. The sensing cable is installed in a straight line or a curved line, and its leading end is connected to the detector by a feeder (see Figure 1). The nominal length of each feeder is 3 meters and the maximum length of each sensing cable is 400 meters.

Perimeter alarm system is configured by the system as shown below.

1. Open-loop system: The system consists of three PMs. PM1 only connects one cable. Therefore, it can be used as a terminal of the system without having to connect to the TU. PM1 is connected to the PM2 through an LU. The PM3 also passes through an LU. Connected in series with PM2. Since PM2 is connected to two cables, the other end must be connected to a terminal module TU or LU. The vibration cable sensor not only detects the vibration signal, but also realizes PM communication. Therefore, the data of PM1 and PM3 in this system can be transmitted to PM2. PM2 is connected to the central control computer through a NIM. In this way, the data of the three PMs can be sent to the central computer for processing without requiring separate wiring of each PM. At the same time, any PM can externally connect multiple RM modules via RS422 interface to realize relay output.

2. Closed-loop system: As can be seen in the figure, the difference between the system and the open-loop system is that three PMs each take two cables and connect them end to end through LU modules to form a closed-loop series to form a closed system.
